Day 53 - Tuesday, May 15th 2018: Rossnowlagh to Bundoran 17km / Total 1156 km, 14°C, cloudy
Misty morning (my tent was so wet I'd have to dry it at the hostel, always the same problem of the wet tent, which is also heavier to carry). Even the wind turbines had their head in the cloud. I believed my little road followed an ancient railway. The grass started to be very green. In fact, this weather was good for walking, not too cold and not too hot, the sky was grey but bright enough.
I made a stop for lunch in Ballyshannon, the hometown of Rory Gallagher, so I decided to listen to the kind of music he used to make. That was pretty good, I liked it and decided to listen to it on the road (for once) until I reached Bundoran. The road passed along a military camp and a soldier stopper to know if I needed a lift. I can't imagine how many different people I would have met if I had agreed to all those who wanted to help me.
My hostel hosted surfers, because Bundoran is a good spot for it, and here I met Anna again. She was here to take a surf lesson. It's good to meet someone again, because most of the time, the people I met, I don't see them again on my way.
