Day 51 - Sunday, May 13th 2018: Dunkineely to Donegal Town 16 km / Total 1121 km, 13°C, cloudy

The road was quite boring on that day. Maybe because I had a new blister and my left knee was painful, but also because it was a big road with traffic and works which left me no place at all to walk.

Fortunately, it was not too long and I reached my hostel in the early afternoon, where I was been very welcomed by Linda. She is definitely the character of this hostel, which would be very different if she was not so entertaining to everyone. She's friendly and funny.

Later in the afternoon, I went to visit the castle. It's not a very big one, more like a fort, with a big square tower and another part the size of a manor. Despite it is small, it was interesting regarding the story of Donegal and the O'Donnell's family.

Then I got a late lunch in the pub, which was before the Castle's stables. On my way back to the hostel, I took a little path across the woods, indicated by Linda. There, on some trees, you can see little doors. It's because fairies are living there ... but I didn't see them, which according to Linda is better for my mind.

During my dinner, I talked with Anna, my roommate, who's from Belgium and in Ireland for the 2nd time, so she could advise me about places to see. And we realized we've book the same hostel 2 days after in Bundoran.
