Day 45 - Monday, May 7th 2018: Meenaleck to Dungloe 25 km / Total 988 km, 17°C, sunny
Sometimes I just want to say "it was a lovely day walking around the Rosses".
But it needs a little bit more of an explanation. The landscapes on the Rosses really reminded me of Fjällbacka in southwest Sweden. It's almost the same little rocks, with pine trees all around, and a beautiful little beach nestled in a very little bay, between little hills.
I made a stop for lunch (well soup of the day) in a hotel named "Viking", that's funny because it's exactly the landscape of a Viking country!
With such a landscape, the road was all but flat and straight ahead. Climbing and turning, all the time. But the view was nice, with Aran Island in the long distance.
In Dungloe, I found a cheap B&B with a lovely decoration: sheep on the teacup and on the shower curtain, funny.
