Day 38 - Sunday, April 29th 2018: Letterkenny to Rathmullan 22 km / Total 835 km, 12°C, sunny

After a day off in Letterkenny, in order to find gas, I was back on the road, and so was the sun (it was hailing while I was struggling for gas, and I was quite happy to leave my cold hostel).

As it was Sunday, I expected the traffic to be quiet. Unfortunately, it was not. Big road, many cars, people well dressed, maybe because of the communion. Or maybe because everybody got out to buy ice cream.

At 3 pm I got lunch in Ramelton, which is a heritage village. Apparently, every elderly person in the area got the same idea as me and came for their Sunday lunch here, and they all took the menu of the day.

In Ray, the road reaches the Lough again, it's good to see the sea again. I chose to spend the night in the woods. I don't know why, but in the forest, shamrocks colour is fluorescent green! Unfortunately, trees are not green enough to hide my green tent and I was afraid some walkers could see me, but in fact, they didn't notice anything.
