Day 166 - Sunday, September 23rd 2018: Arklow to Wicklow Head 21 km / Total 3425 km, 14°C, sunny Sitting in front of another Irish Breakfast, looking at the bacon, the sausages, the black pudding, I realized that I couldn't eat that anymore. I couldn't stand it. I just ate the toasts and left. I crossed the river and left the town. Most of the walk that day was along Brittas Bay. It was Sunday and it was sunny. Sunday really is my favourite day for walking, I can feel how much quiet it is. People seem to drive more slowly, they have more time. And I'm not the only one walking. I went to the beach for a short break and enjoyed the sound of the waves. I'm gonna miss it for sure. A family came and sat not far away from me. It was officially the first day of Autumn and they were having a picnic on the beach. The sea and sky were blue, what a lovely day. I was happy to reach the only coffee shop of the day before it closed for the holidays. I asked for a burger: there was no more burger. Ok, let's go for a salad. And they had pasties de Nata, a delicious Portuguese dessert. I didn't eat it for such a long time, I couldn't resist ordering some. And it came with ice cream! Of course ... I was their last guest, and the lady who closed the door just after me almost jumped with joy! Then I found my last camping, the last one on my road to Dublin, near Wicklow Head. I was glad that it wasn't already closed. Of course, I was the only one sleeping in a tent. For my last night in my tent, the ground was not exactly flat but I had a view of the sea which was really great because just before going to sleep, there was a bright full moon shining above the Irish Sea, it was wonderful and spectacular!
