Day 157 - Friday, September 14th 2018: Waterford to Duncannon 19 km / Total 3233 km, 18°C, sunny

Urban walk. That means footpath and safety. That also means I spent most of the time on my smartphone.

Now that I know when I'll finish my trip, it seems that I have to plan a lot of things. And it's quite stressful. I better switch off my phone and enjoy the present.

And in fact, the walk out of town to the ferry was quite peaceful.

I took my last ferry, to cross the Barrow River and got back to Leinster, as I entered Wexford County. On the river, I understood why the Vikings chose this natural harbour to settle, the place was really a good haven.

I took a break at the pub in front of the ferry before walking the last few kilometres to my campsite. There was a nice fort in Duncannon, with a lovely beach in front of it.

In the evening, the sky was clear enough to see the stars. And I really didn't see it often, as before there was daylight until very late, and most of the time the sky cloudy.
