Day 155 - Wednesday, September 12th 2018: Bunmahon to Tramore 17 km / Total 3202 km, 18°C, sunny

According to my plan, it was supposed to be my last night of wild camping. And finally, it was a good place. I had a very quiet night, and when I woke up, despite the air being fresh, the sky was clear, with a very good light, and the place was so peaceful. That's what I liked in my trip: just me and nature. And the sun started to shine slowly, turning the sea into a deep blue. I really enjoyed it, and it was quite hard to leave.

But the walk along the coast to Annestown was great, with amazing cliffs and sunlight reflected on the sea. This was absolutely happiness.

And then, the walk in the countryside was nice as well, even if someone who offered me a lift, told me that this road wasn't good for walking. Like most roads.

I chose to take the shortest and most direct road to Tramore, because I was really starving, since I didn't get any real meal the day before. But I was quite surprised when I arrived there to see that almost everything was closed apart from a fish and chips. It's supposed to be a very touristic beach, with an amusement park. But it was closed and the attractions started to be dismantled. End of summer holidays really means end of summer.

I finally found a place to sit and get lunch, before going to the hostel, empty. When I told the manager that the town was very quiet, she told me it was winter season. Officially, it was still summer. But apparently there's only summer and winter season, no middle season, despite the weather being still sunny.
